สมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี เสด็จพระราชดำเนินเปิดงานสถาปนิก 57
ในวันพฤหัสบดีที่ 1 พฤษภาคม 2557 เวลา 09.30 น. ณ บริเวณโถงด้านหน้า ชาเลนเจอร์ฮอลล์ อิมแพ็คเมืองธานี
ความเป็นมา
สมาคมสถาปนิกสยาม ในพระบรมราชูปถัมภ์ ได้จัดงานเพื่อเผยแพร่วิชาชีพสถาปัตยกรรมมาตั้งแต่ปีพุทธศักราช 2529 โดยใช้ชื่องานว่า “งานสถาปนิก29” และได้จัดเป็นประจำทุกปี (ยกเว้นปีพุทธศักราช 2533) จนถึงปัจจุบัน ได้จัดไปแล้ว 27ครั้ง สำหรับปีพุทธศักราช 2557 นี้ คณะกรรมการบริหารสมาคมฯปีพุทธศักราช 2555-2557 มีมติเห็นชอบในการจัดงานสถาปนิก 57 ซึ่งเป็นครั้งที่ 28 ขึ้นในวันอังคารที่ 29 เมษายน 2557 ถึงวันอาทิตย์ที่ 4พฤษภาคม 2557 ณ อาคารชาเลนเจอร์ 1-3 ศูนย์แสดงสินค้าอิมแพ็ค เมืองทองธานี ถนนแจ้งวัฒนะ ตำบลบ้านใหม่ อำเภอปากเกร็ด จังหวัดนนทบุรี เพื่อให้เป็นไปตามวัตถุประสงค์ดังต่อไปนี้
วัตถุประสงค์
1. เผยแพร่และเสริมสร้างความรู้ในการประกอบวิชาชีพสถาปัตยกรรมสาขาต่างๆ
2. เสริมสร้างความร่วมมือร่วมใจและความเข้าใจอันดีระหว่างสถาปนิก นิสิตนักศึกษา รวมทั้งมวลสมาชิกในวิชาชีพเดียวกันและวิชาชีพที่เกี่ยวข้อง
3. เผยแพร่และแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้ทางด้านวิชาการ วิชาชีพ รวมทั้งการแสดงสินค้า วัสดุ และเทคโนโลยีสมัยใหม่ ในการออกแบบ ก่อสร้าง ตกแต่งและบำรุงรักษาอาคารสถานที่
4. เผยแพร่ผลงานของสถาปนิก นิสิตนักศึกษา รวมทั้งผลงานสถาปัตยกรรมดีเด่น
5. สร้างความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างผู้ผลิตวัสดุอุปกรณ์การก่อสร้างกับสถาปนิก วิศวกร มัณฑนากรและผู้เกี่ยวข้องในวิชาชีพ
6. จัดสัมมนาเชิงวิชาการและวิชาชีพสถาปัตยกรรมในแง่มุมต่างๆ เพื่อให้เกิดการแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้ความคิดเห็นของสถาปนิก ผู้ประกอบการ และผู้เชี่ยวชาญในสาขางานที่เกี่ยวข้อง
แนวคิดในการจัดงาน “สิบแปด | แปดสิบ”:”Eighteenth | Eighty”
เมื่อปีพ.ศ. 2477 ขณะนั้นประเทศไทยยังชื่อว่าประเทศสยาม สมาคมสถาปนิกสยามในพระบรมราชูปถัมภ์ ได้ก่อตั้งขึ้น และในปี พ.ศ. 2557 นี้สมาคมฯ ก็มีอายุครบ 80 ปี
แต่อย่างไรก็ตามก็ต้องยอมรับว่า ที่ผ่านมา “สถาปนิก” ดูเหมือนจะยังเป็นวิชาชีพที่สังคมทั่วไป อาจยังไม่รู้จักดีนัก ว่าสถาปนิกนั้น ทำ, เป็น, หรือคืออะไร
งานสถาปนิก 57 ของสมาคมสถาปนิกสยามฯ จึงมีแนวความคิดหลักในการจัดงาน เพื่อจะบอกกับสังคมให้เข้าใจและได้รู้จักบทบาท, หน้าที่, ความสำคัญและประโยชน์ของ “สถาปนิก” ให้มากขึ้น
และเนื่องจากสมาคมฯ ได้เริ่มมีการประชุมครั้งที่ 1 เมื่อวันที่ 18 เดือนเมษายน ... งานสถาปนิก 57 จึงมีชื่องานว่า สิบแปด|แปดสิบ
